STORY
It begins with light rain on a little garden, and soon, unnatural things sprout.
Within hours, the tunnel into the valley is flooded. A storm thrums endlessly on the shingled roof. And people are getting eaten.
You think you’re safe inside your warm hotel, because the goddamn little biting mouths only come up from wet earth... so far. But these aren’t subterranean monsters, and this isn’t cursed land.
The rustic Swallowlands Resort is infected with Dirtmouths. Once the spores start spreading, they’re impossible to stop. Soon they’re on the walls, in the food…
…and then the itching starts…
…and then they’re on you. Under your shirt, all over your arms like ticks. Growing on your neck, your face, snapping and hissing, insatiably hungry.
And it’s not until EYES start popping open on your flesh – horrible eyes like from a nightmare – that you finally realize, YOU are their way into this world.
These voracious little things won't stop until they chew their way into our plane of existence, and your body is the floodgate.
Writer-Director Breehn Burns is the artist who designed SAM for the cult horror film Trick 'r Treat. He was supervising producer on Netflix's Invader ZIM: Enter The Florpus and showrunner on Bravest Warriors.
